On Fox News today, they had an interview with actor Hugh Laurie of HOUSE fame. I don't watch a lot of television, but I'm told it's a darn good show. Regardless, the interviewwer asked laurie how the English socialized medicine compaeres with America's unsocialized (so far) medicine. He hedged (which tells you right away he's a smart man) and said if he had no money, he'd rather be sick in England and since he has money he'd stay in America if he got sick. But what he added makes for good thought provocation. He stated that socialized medicine was bankrupting his country and it would bankrupt America too. He immediately followed by saying he doesn't know the answer, but those are the facts. Intelligent statements indeed. Do you think the Dems were watching?
